Falmouth Stencil Graffiti 2005-2006...
The Hitler shooting himself through the head stencil was created as an Anti-Fascist statement. I added the text: Racists, Fascists and Haters of Refugees because I wanted to draw parallels between Nazi prosecution of minorities and our own right wing press's calls to do the same. I think that the message is clear, even if peoples understanding of the effect of propaganda upon them isnt. The Fuck the System, Liberate Yourself stencil is a subvert of a famous photo taken of American troops raising an American flag at the end of the second world war. I wanted to suggest that anarchy might be a truer freedom than swapping one corrupt hierarchy for another. The new Revolting Mass stencil was an update from my old logo as my stencil graffiti skills had improved alot by this point and I had come up with a much better signiture piece for myself, which I still use today. Most of these stencils went up in Falmouth as well as the surrounding areas such as Penryn, Redruth, Truro and some other places in Cornwall. Some also made it up to Bristol & Farnham in Surrey and the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, Scotland (I think a few service stations got hit in between them all too!).

I saw a piece of hand written graffiti saying: 'Yoga, mind over doesnt matter. Not as good as...' and simply added my revolting mass stencil in black and white next to it. ;-)
